Abstract

Temanggung is one of the regencies that has the nickname as the third highest rice producer in Central Java Province. Each sub-district in Temanggung Regency is a rice producer with different average levels of income. This study focuses on examining the yield of rice crops and the factors that influence it in the Temanggung Regency area. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the effect of area height and land area on the amount of rice crop yields in Temanggung district. This study uses quantitative research methods through a multiple linear regression analysis approach based on data on the official website of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Temanggung Regency for Agriculture and Mining which focuses on the food crops chapter in 2021. The results of the study based on statistical tests showed that the average height of the area partially has negative and significant effect on rice yields, while land area has a positive and significant effect on rice yields. These results indicate that land area is the most influential factor on rice crop yields in the Temanggung Regency area.
